We seriously lucked out with the weather! It snowed last night! We were getting ready to call it a night and Andreas noticed that it had just started snowing! There were a few centimeters this morning on the ground, none on the road and lots left on the cars. The wind has been blowing today and it's cold! I think that the Indian Summer we have been enjoying is over and we are leaving just in time!
We fly out to Dubai tonight and say goodbye to the church bells, cobblestones, warm, friendly pubs, good traditional Bavarian food (veal meatloaf and sausages, bread and liver dumplings, pretzels, mashed potatoes, schnitzel (sp?), cucumber salads and of course the beer!)
Andreas' aunt Rosi was the most amazing host and I was so disappointed being unable to speak more freely with her. Her english is just a little more than my German...not much! She was so energetic, helpful, warm and fed us so well. She helped us master the transportation system and showed us where to buy the BEST chocolates in all of Munich. THANK YOU ROSI!
We are off for one more beer stop before heading out to the airport. Today's count: beer: 2, pretzels: 3 (plus room for one more shortly!) Goodbye Munich. Until next time!

Any updates coming in from the UAE? Hope so! Not sure if you're checking your comments...the rain has begun here - throughout the day and night yesterday and not stopping yet either. It's 10am here and it's just showering out there. Prepare yourself for when you come home!! Have fun! Tam
